Kingscliff RSLThe Kingscliff sub-Branch of the RSL (NSW Branch) welcomes applications for new members.  Please read the information below as to how to go about joining the RSL

HOW DO I JOIN?

To join as a member of the league head to https://rslnsw.org.au/get-involved/become-a-member/

If you do not wish to be a member of a sub-Branch, you may join the Unattached List at ANZAC House. This means that you would be a member of the League but take no active participation in sub-Branch matters.

SERVICE MEMBERSHIP

Eligibility:

(a) any person who is or was a member of the Australian Defence Force with at least one day’s service should be admitted as a Service Member;

(b) a person who was, for a period of not less than six months, a member of the Armed Forces of:

(i) any country presently or formerly a member of the British Commonwealth;

(ii) any country or place presently or formerly a Crown Colony of the United Kingdom; or

(iii) the United States of America.

(c) subject to providing proof of service and with the specific prior approval of the Board,

 

A person to whom clause (b) does not apply, but who is an Australian citizen or permanent resident and who in a theatre of conflict:

(i) either served with, supported or was otherwise engaged with the Australian Defence Force or the Armed Forces of those countries or places referred to in clause (b) above; or

(ii) served as a member of the Armed Forces of another country or place which, during that time of conflict, was an ally of the Commonwealth.

 

To be eligible to be a Service Member in any of the categories in above, a person must be at least 18 years of age.

 

AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP
Eligibility:

(a) a person who is any relative of a person (living or deceased) who is or was eligible to be a Service Member;

(b) a person who has received an award for giving valuable service to the League;

(c) a Cadet and/or Officer of Cadets;

(d) any person deemed by the Board to have provided significant service to the League.

 

To be eligible to be an Affiliate Member in any of the categories above, a person must be at least 18 years of age.

Note: No sub-Branch is compelled to admit Affiliate Members. Please contact the sub-Branch if you have any questions.
